There are three variations and six colors available for the Bajaj Freedom street bike. The 125cc BS6 engine that powers the Bajaj Freedom produces 9.3 horsepower and 9.7 Nm of torque. Bajaj Freedom has a combined braking system that uses both wheels, with front disc brakes and rear drum brakes. This Freedom bike has a 2 liter gasoline tank and weighs 149 kg.
The Bajaj Freedom is the first CNG motorcycle in the world as well as in India. It is equipped with a gasoline tank to increase its range and has the potential to completely transform frugal transportation. Three different models of the bike have been introduced.
Form and function are effortlessly blended, starting with the design. The top two models have LED headlights, a fuel tank akin to a dirt bike, the largest seat in the market, according to Bajaj, and a sleek tail section. Additionally, there is a well-integrated grab hold.
A tubular trellis frame supported by a connected mono shock and a telescopic fork is located beneath the bodywork. This bike is the first in the segment to have a rear suspension that is linked. It has wheels that are 17 inches up front and 16 inches down the back. A disc brake up front and a drum brake down the back handle braking. However, the standard model features a front drum brake.
The 2 kg CNG tank on the Bajaj Freedom is shrewdly located in the middle of the bike. The 2.0-liter gasoline tank is situated above and ahead of the CNG tank, which is typically where fuel tanks are located on regular motorcycles. Their combined range is 330 kilometers. With a flip of a button, the rider can switch between the two fuels—petrol and CNG—that share a same refill cap.
The bike is powered by a 125cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine that generates 9.7Nm at 6,000 rpm and 9.5bhp at 8,000 rpm. There is a five-speed gearbox connected to the engine.
Regarding features, the top two varieties come equipped with an LED headlamp and a reverse LCD display that supports Bluetooth communication.
